Removing unnecessary country maps from Navigon
Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009NOTICE!
Due to some breach of the law use this tutorial on your behalf! You have been warned.
After buying Navigon, European version I noticed that it is over 1,8 GB. I have 16GB iPhone 3GS and about 12GB of music, some other programs and tons of photos. I also don’t need maps of the whole Europe at that moment. So I decided to cut out other countries than that I live in.

iTunes 9
Tuesday, September 15th, 2009After a couple of days I can rate new iTunes. Now, I still have tons of free time [15 days more
] and I often listen to music. iTunes is my favourite player- I prefer it even on Windows… Winamp is a bit archaic to me, I don’t know why.
The list of new features in version 9 is long, but there are two worth mentioning for me: Geniux Mixes and improved iPhone management. Since I am an iPhone 3GS owner I love to have a total control of it’s content. Adding faces and event sorting in photo section was a smart move. An option called fill free space with music is great, too.
On the other hand, there are some disadvantages of iT 9. Firstly, why (in hell!) it is still 32bit? It could be a lot faster in 64… Moreover, the white backgound in grid view is really hurting eyes at night.
In my opinion Apple could update iTunes more often. It is one of their flag programs and should be perfect. Version 9 is a nice beginning!
