After jailbreaking your iPhone you ought to change your shell password. Some ‘hackers’ are using iPhones with default password as their income source. They simply log into our iPhone and install one tiny app which shows info on your springboard or lockscreen. It says thet you have to pay them in order to make the text disappear. THAT is a typical swindle.
To prevent little ‘hackers’ from getting to your phone you should change default passwords in shell. In order to to that connect with your phone and log as root
Commands:
passwd –>changes your password
Then
su mobile (another user in iphone)
passwd
I have been a happy iPhone 3Gs owner since September. It is a perfect phone for me, but it has one ENORMOUS disadvantage: iPhone downloads data from GSM network on it’s own.
