iPod Touch now has bluetooth

Latest firmware update enabled bluetooth in my iPod Touch 2G. I was really surprised when I discovered it, but after a while I thought “Finally!”.

Now iPod Touch 2G is ‘fully’ capable of Bluetooth audio and data transmission

Thanks to Broadcom BCM4325 Bluetooth chip we are able to use more accessories, but nothing more. Apple seriously stripped bluetooth in their devices. I tried to pair my iPod with my phone: LG Viewty with no luck. I couldn’t even send a file using it. So what’s the point of having BT in iPod Touch? It is useful only if you have a bluetooth headset or Nike+…

Apple shame on you!

    Może się jeszcze okaże że znadziesz w nim ukryty moduł gsm? :P na iphone od 2.x.x była w cydi aplikacja do “norlamnego” użytwoania bt, może warto sprobować.
